New collaboration and investment in the ICT sector in Tunisia, thanks to the collaboration of the following renowned international companies committed to creating digital jobs and strengthening local skills: Ezo, a Canadian company dedicated to financial and banking inclusion, Speedykom, a German company specialising in technology consulting and digital solution deployment, and YoChBee, a French payment fintech for the diaspora.

Under the motto “Building bridges,” we organised a great Tunisia panel on the main stage of Bitkom’s TRANSFORM 24. Our Marseille visit was all about innovation. At the EMERGING Valley, the Africa-Europe Summit for emerging start-ups and organic innovations, Tech216 strengthened the bridge between African and European tech for boosting and scaling collaborations. The next stop: the 4th Dot Landing’s meeting, where our partner The Dot provided a platform for support programmes for the Tunisian diaspora and investment opportunities in Tunisia.

Meet us in Spain! In 2023 we will be at various events in Europe – for example at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from February 27th to March 2nd, 2023. Africa Tech Summit Nairobi connects tech leaders from the African ecosystem and international players. Network with key stakeholders including tech corporates, mobile operators, fintechs, investors, leading start-ups, regulators and industry stakeholders driving business and investment forward.

Together with experts and stakeholders from start-ups, NGOs, companies and public representatives, GIZ Tunisia developed and discussed future scenarios for recommendations on how the Tunisian population can develop the skills that will be needed in the digital economy of 2035.
